The lady of the lake continues….

For a few weeks I’ve been researching new myths and fables that interest me to inspire new work!

But I keep finding myself thinking about this one… it’s clear to me now that I’m simply not finished with this story……

There is so much more to be discovered, this one story is swirling around my mind waiting to spill onto the canvas, or find itself taking form one crochet stitch at a time.

So far I’ve found myself painting her.

The next image I’m working on focuses on how I imagine she felt returning to the lake. 

This is my first painting of her, she’s small, but on the right road I think 🖤
